This class is the wrapper for giving the default look of all the cat model windows. The
default look includes the default menu, the square icons at the top, the arbor help at the
left bottom, and the date indicator at the right bottom.  Althought these default models
are stored in the subcanvases, the actions must be provided in this class.

Instance Variables:
state   <CatState>	The state of the selection.
