DuPont Model
The following DuPont Model Screen represents the calculation of ROA
being used for Aurora. The calculations are presented below the
image along with references to the queries. The DuPont Model
Screen has two basic types of boxes, those that are a function
of values flowing into it as can be seen from the boxes that
have lines going into them and those that are based upon some
query of the values from the database. There is also a simpler
box that is just a percentage based upon values flowing into it
such as ROA and Asset Turnover.

ROA = AccountableProfit% / AssetTurnover
Accountable Profit = Operating Profit - PartsProfit - Other
Income
AssetTurnover = NST% / TotalAssets%
Operating Profit = VariableMargin - PeriodCosts
VariableMargin = NetSales - VariableCosts
