Joe's Pattern Reference
I have been involved with patterns since 1993 and I have had the priveledge to
be able to attend all of the Pattern Languages of Programs Conference(PLoPs).
The first PLoP I attended excited me about what
writing patterns meant and how this is the first place where experts are
finally trying to document in an engineering fashion what works in practice.
The person I have collaborated with the most for writting patterns has been
Brian Foote. I did convert
to html a version of a paper by Gerard Meszaros and Jim Doble
entitled "A Pattern Language for Pattern
Writing". I am the PLoP '98
conference chair and the web page for the conference can be found
here
