Generic Picture Viewer is a useful application which recursively parses through a directory and displays the links of the images in a completed list. Thus allowing others to view all images in that directory over the web , (using Netscape, Microsoft Explorer, or other graphic based web browsers.
The perl/cgi script which GPV 1.0 uses can easily be modified to allow someone to even generate a complete listing of web pages in a certain directory.
